Support the Children Shelter of the Upstate, Inc. and the 2011 Auction for a Cause!
The Children Shelter of the Upstate, Inc. is excited to announce that we will once again be participating in the Uptown Sertoma Club's 2011 Auction for a Cause on Friday, October 7th, 2011 at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium.
Allproceeds that come from the sale of donations to the Children Shelter of the Upstate, Inc. will be designated for our wonderful programs at the Shelter.
From now until September 30th, the Children Shelter of the Upstate, Inc. will be collecting items with a value of $50 or more for the silent auctions and items with a value of $250 or more for the live auction. On Friday, October 7th, bidders will fill the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium to purchase these items. The proceeds of these items will benefit the Children Shelter of the Upstate, Inc.
In addition to supporting a great cause, auction donations are tax deductible for the value of the item and donors will be acknowledged for their gift in the auction catalog and other promotional materials!
If you would like to help, drop off your item in person at the Children Shelter at 202
Hudson L. Barksdale in

Join us at the auction! There will be many items available in the silent auctions as well as live auction items available for bid. This is a great time to shop for that special someone!!
Doors open at 5:30pm!
Soft drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and a cash bar for beer and wine will be available as you enjoy your shopping experience.
Tickets cost $10 and if you buy them from the Shelter, we will retain 100% of the proceeds!
