The Shelter is excited to announce that S.Van Clark, IV is our new Chief Executive Officer.  Van has many years of experience with the Shelter, serving as both a Board member and most recently as Board Chair.  Van brings many years of experience in Human Resources, Banking and Manufacturing.   He is quickly getting a "hands-on" education in the world of DSS and Non-profits.  Van is married to Melanie and they have 2 beautiful children.  Please stop by or call Van anytime to schedule a tour or talk about the Shelter. 864-583-7688 ext. 1-33.

 She's Back!!

  Sylvia Stahley just can't stay away!  Many of you know and recognize our "new" Director of Development.  Sylvia retired as Executive Director from the Shelter in 2008.  But after just a few years at home with the grandkids, she's back!  Sylvia , a Spartanburg native and married to Ron for over 43 years is back working for the Shelter part-time.  She is involved with the Sparkle City Red Hatters, Sunrise Civitan and a member of Peach Valley Baptist Church.  Sylvia is available to speak to your group or organization.  Contact her today for a tour or a speaking engagement!  864-583-7688 ext. 1-28.
