You think your heating/cooling costs are high?  Did you know that last month it cost over $4,356 to heat the Shelter?  That includes our power & gas bills.  We do 2-5 loads of laundry EVERY DAY!  We must be ready at anytime of the day or night to bring children into the Shelter.  Several times over the Christmas season we had families of up to 5 children coming in at one time. 

What can you do to help?  Become a friend of the Shelter.  Committing to a monthly donation of even $25 per month allows us to be prepared for the kids we serve. 

Do you know how many gallons of milk our teens go through? We can house up to 16 teens in our Anchor House.  Can you imagine feeding 16 teens everyday?  Do they ever get full?  Our teens are just like your family.  We try to keep them full, clothed & entertained.  Help us by sponsoring activities for our kids, volunteering your time.  There are so many ways you can help.

There are many ways to Volunteer at the Shelter.  One day a month makes a big impact on life at the Shelter.  Come by yourself or get a group together.  You will love it!!!
