Teen Mom Residential Program

The Shelter started a pilot program in 2010 to provide housing for teen moms and their babies.  This program is designed to house, teach, support and nurture pregnant and/or teen moms who have been placed into foster care.  Our goal is to ensure mom and child bond, while learning appropriate parenting skills and pre and post natal care for mom and child.  Teen moms will receive continuous guidance to obtain high school diplomas of GED and prepare for continuing education or gainful employment.
